08/31/2012 - We're going to be down for a sheduled upgrade over the weekend. You'll be able to place orders normally, but please be patient, as we will not be able to respond to any emails until Tuesday, September 4rd. Our programmer promises us that this upgrade is going to be well worth the trouble, and we hope you all agree!
07/15/2012 - We've been busy adjusting everything to be in compliance with Google Shopping's new service! As always, changing things can cause new bugs, but rest assured that our system will email us automatically if anyone sees a bug, so we can get it fixed immediately!

02/14/2012 - Happy Valentines' Day! We love all our customers, but we have some slightly bad news too. Our primary distributor has been having some issues for a while, ever since they moved locations to another city.. Among other things, a number of items that they show as having in stock, well, are not.. Due to this, our fill rate of custom orders has been lower than normal, somewhere around 70%.. We have decided to temporarily disable all custom orders in the site, just until things get back to at least an 80% rate. In the meantime, if you need something custom ordered, please contact us!

07/27/2011 - We have just switched our site to running off of our new database. Some items may not be showing up right now, particularly items that we did not have proper GTINs for. We're working on re-adding these as quickly as possible. Trust us, this change will be worth all of the trouble! :)
06/18/2011 - We've been working on more behind the scenes changes, including tweaking our system to automatically notify us when anyone encounters an error. We noticed that Google Checkout has been having problems processing any items with a & in them. This has been fixed. :)
05/13/2011 - Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! ;) Great Eastern had a major delay in shipping our latest order, but it came in this morning. We appreciate the patience of several people whom had custom orders waiting on that; it normally doesn't take so long! New items have been added, and we also have enabled a system to automatically email us when any errors occur in the site.. All in all, a lot of changes!
04/22/2011 - It's been a quiet month, as far as news goes, but we have been busy working behind the scenes! We have a fair amount of new merchandise available now, in many different departments. We're expecting even more in soon, so keep checking back with us!
03/23/2011 - We'd like to apologize for any problems any of you may have had with the site. While testing our conversion to using SQL databases, we hit a bug that had left most of the site unusable. Mr. Burns helped us fix it, and we're back up and running now! Please let us know if you find any problems at all.
03/14/2011 - Disaster in Japan.. Right now, Japan is in a major crisis. They were hit by an 8.9 earthquake and tsunami originally, and have been having regular earthquakes ever since. They are also having problems with 3 of their nuclear reactors now. Many people are dead, and many others are in danger.. We would like to encourage each of you to donate whatever you can to one of the charities whom are helping with this situation. 02/14/2011 - Happy Valentine's Day, everyone! We've been quiet, when it comes to updates, but we are doing a lot of work behind the scenes! The biggest of these is redesigning our system in a way that will allow us to add a product search, and automatically adjust quantities of items when sold!
12/17/2010 - We've added several new items, as usual, but we have also lowered the price on all of the Death Note Trading Figures! We believe that the MSRP on them is a little too high, when compared to other trading figures' quality, size and price. The opened boxes are still higher than the unopened, but they're a fair bit lower now. When we open trading figures, we open an entire case at a time, to keep from interfering with the odds for the blind boxes.
12/09/2010 - When T.J. Burns, the Chameleon, passed the reigns of Chameleon's Den over to us, he left us with a rather large, unsorted box of collectible cards, mostly from Magic the Gathering. It's taken us a few years, but we are proud to announce that we have done what he never finished; we have listed each of these cards available for sale! I'm afraid that we don't know that much about these cards, so we're unable to recommend specific cards for you, but please remember that these cards are backed by our 100% satisfaction guarantee. 12/03/2010 - Just a friendly reminder to all of our customers that with Christmas approaching, special orders placed after today will most likely not arrive before the holidays. This applies only to the items that say to allow 4-6 weeks for delivery. Our In Stock items can still make it to your location within 2-3 days of your order, if you select USPS Priority Mail shipping!
11/24/2010 - Up until now, all of our special order items have been typed in by hand.. While we like the freedom that this gives us, we realize that this can lead to several needless complications, especially if an item stops being available before we get a chance to update the site! The system has been changed to automatically show an approved selection of special order items, automatically updated if they become unavailable. In with this change, we have added around TEN THOUSAND new special order items, so feel free to browse around, and let us know if you see any problems!
11/12/2010 - We've been busy over the past month! Our regular visitors will notice that the entire site's layout has been changed.. This change has added a sort of skin support for the site, allowing us to change things to fit different holidays. We have also changed our shopping cart, which now can support (in theory) any number of items.
10/10/2010 - We've added about 1,000 (Yes, that many) new items to the list of what we can custom order for you.. There's still a lot more that we can custom order that's not listed, so as always, let us know if you're looking for something special!
09/09/2010 - It's been a while since we posted an update.. We've been rather busy, but most of our changes have been behind the scenes. Some changes have also been made to the shopping cart's checkout process, to make things easier for everyone. We've also upgraded our system where we can show more information about various products, which will slowly become visible as we type in that information!
07/23/2010 - We updated our Contact page to include a nicer, Javascript version, in addition to the regular one. We've also fixed various other bugs that were reported to us, and are still working on selecting newer and better Special Order items!
07/13/2010 - Chameleon's Den is now on Facebook! You can find a link currently on our Contact page. Furthermore, we have added Facebook Like buttons to every item on the site, to help people share their favorites with their friends.. This is an experiment at the moment, and we may remove it later depending on how well people like it!
06/29/2010 - We've begun adding Special Order and Pre-order items to the site.. To ensure the best quality of items possible, this process is being done manually, so it will take a while to list all we decide to. Please remember that we can special order more items than we're going to list, so always feel free to ask us if you're looking for something in particular!
06/20/2010 - It was brought to our attention that many Sega Genesis games were missing pictures.. We're sorry about this; we were forced to rapidly make some changes not too long ago, and they were overlooked at that time. New pictures have been taken of all of these, and they have been added.
05/22/2010 - Many items have been restocked during this time, but we're trying to limit our news articles to updates. Quick-browse menus have been added to each list page, allowing you to quickly jump to a specific letter or page. This feature was overlooked in a previous update, but is still extremely useful when browsing through our video games. Lastly, we've received approval to use images from some of our distributors, so we've been working a lot on preparing a custom order section, to display some of the things we can order for you!
04/15/2010 - A lot of older video games have been restocked. Official descriptions, from the backs of their boxes, have been added to most video games.
03/26/2010 - Several new items have been added, including the beautiful Tabris-XX figure from Neon Genesis Evangelion. We're also working on displaying more information on the site, to better help you select the perfect collectable or gift.
03/08/2010 - Several new items have been added, including T-Shirts, which are temporarily put in with Plushies. A new 'Other' section was added to video games, with some rare treasures including Nintendo Virtual Boy games. Help buttons were also added to all product pages, to help explain what our different conditions mean.
03/01/2010 - We finished converting Chameleon's Den over to a new format. A number of new items were added, with more yet to come! We also added this News section that you're currently reading.
